at the end of the day you have to what you have to do, and if it doesn't involved drama, the surfer/wanna be webmaster doesn't care unless it carries a high bitch factor along with it
fact is, the people with high traffic making you the most sales aren't posting on gfy and aren't caring about some installs that your consoles might have as long as they get their gracious PPS that you offer

in some sort of way its them that showed us exaclty what this does and the blowback caused. that blowback alone is good enough for me to not continue with it.
i strongly believe that gfy does not fall into the 80/20 rule. gfy is more like 90/10, being that 90% of the people here all day long send 10% of your traffic. 10% is 10%. they're valuable in their own way. my huge affiliates are never around, they never contact me, they never post, shit i have to go looking for them just to see if they are alive and ok. they bang away everyday nonstop and never log into a board. in the entire industry we have 1000s and 1000s of webmasters, yet there are maybe 15 or so that hit the boards and play vigilante. this time i learned something from the confrontation. like i said legal or not on WD side, its just not something i want to continue or would have done had i known of all the complaints and what it does once the trial expires.
i make the decisions over here and no one tells me what to do with my surfers. if others want to use it, by all means, run your business, but i wont send people to downloads ever again.
