Nearly ALL graphics cards support dual monitors, so why not get two 17" TFTs?
Then you can edit php/html/css code in monitor 1
and see the preview in monitor 2,
or run a debugger in monitor 2,
or watch porn in monitor 2,
or read GFY in monitor 2
It is a hard cold fact that productivity increase with dual monitors. Not a single study done has said otherwise. That why nearly every single programmer I know has two or even more!

Actually, that is what I'm doing; getting two monitors. BUT 17" is too small. I got the money, I want BIG!, but also want the BEST resolution.Originally posted by jazzllNearly ALL graphics cards support dual monitors, so why not get two 17" TFTs?Comment

You are wrong. The reason the price is so much lower that what we are used to is that these monitors are the first that are manufactured using a new technology. The new process makes it much much cheaper to make the panels.Originally posted by Ruithose must be some piss-poor monitors damm, whats the response time of that 25ms?
The response time is rated at 12ms gray to gray and 16ms black to black.
The monitor is not available to end-users in North America and Europe before March 1st.Comment

The 213T is very high on my list. I've looked at it and the image is very good.Comment
