    Windows Screen Saver mode

    What is the keyboard combination to force Windows to go into Screen Saver mode..?

    Some times I do not like to leave my desk in the office for fear that some one might come up before the 10 mins time passes.

          rightclick, properties, preview? Or just check the help files ... I don't remember whether there's a hotkey.

              When I do that... it never asks for the password when it comes out of screensaver mode... and yes... the box is checked to ask for password.

                                      There is no windows hotkey combo.

                                      You could create a desktop shortcut to %windir%\system32\scrnsave.scr and use that when you step away from your desk.

                                          I just tried that... (great idea)

                                          But when I move the mouse to come back to windows...

                                          It does not ask me for a password...

                                          Just goes right back to Windows.
