Am I ready to play with real money at poker?

In the last month, I played around 3-4 hours a day at party poker with play money. At first I lost my 2000$ bankroll around 15-20 times, but now I am at around 4 million dollars and I'm winning very regularly at the no limit tables. Does this mean that I am somewhat good and could maybe win some money in the long run at poker? I've had my share of badluck in gambling in the past, but poker seems different. Should I give a try at real money?

Agreed. The difference between 1000000NL play money and $0.5/$1 is massive.

Depends on what cards you play.

            AA
            KK
            AKs

            QQ
            JJ
            AQs
            AKo

And so on. If you play does hands then you are all good. And nothing else.

Play money vs Real money = Night and Day.

At the free tables, it's just 9 calling stations sitting there waiting to make a hand on the river.

At the real tables, betting actually comes into play. And there is also a sizable difference between the lower and higher stakes tables. You have to adapt your style to the room (pokerstars vs. pacificpoker) as well as the table level.

Play Money isnt the same as Real Money...
If you decide to play use the code PSHADOW and get 20% free on your first realmoney deposit :D

But seriously, start on the low tables.. and work your way up each table has a different style of play. I find that the bad beat tables are easiest to make money on. The higher you go the more you risk, and other risk. Keep that in mind.

I've spent many a hours playing in real money games online and there is only one place that I would ever play again and its at Bodog

I've played at: Absolute, Pacific, Party Poker, and Bodog.

Play at a $1/$2 table nothing lower to avoid the jackels wasting their money.

Good luck you can make some serious bank, if you stick with it.
