I don't feel sorry for that baby because of society standards but because he/she will be off to the worst poissible start.... A mom who still is a kid and don't have a clue about responsibility (hence the heavy smoking). Gonna be born into a fucked up family where even her grandmother won't try to stop her from smoking in the age of 9.
I will give that baby till the age of twenty before he/she OD's or a micracle happen and she is able to break the social enherence.

You must be forgetting or you just don't know that a girl of 11 is not a fertile woman yet. At 13 a girl may not become a woman.

I was pregnant young yet I still managed fine. Albeit 11 is very young and not ok in my books especally with that smoking, Thats madness...

But society does have very rigid views on what the norm is supposed to be. Look at is this way, in the very older days kids were married of young and basically told to have children! Isnt it somewhat of a contrast these days to say the opposite.

I was branded for having a child young, yes there are lots of things I could have been doing- going to university, getting myself in debt for a qualification I would never use, getting bullied all over again, yup that sounds like fun.

But instead I didnt give up the baby, I faced the responsibilities and owned up to my actions, albeit I was told I couldnt get pregnant but docs lie.

Anyhoo what Im trying to say is that yes 11 is too young in my book but the ages of 13-16 year old girls getting pregnant is a common thing, not a nice thing but a common one. Personally if adults didnt have such a stuck up attitude towards sex and were more open with their kids then maybe these things wouldnt happen.

Catholic schools tell you about sex, but they LEGALLY cant tell you about contraception as that is the way f the church. We asked out biologi teacher about it and she could have lost her job if anyone found out shehad told us.

We are taught all about sex but not how to do it safely. Yes there are leaflets but you dont see 12-15 year old girls saying mom, give me a leaflet on sex please do you? Even these anonymous clinics arent anonymous.

Anyhoo rant over all Im saying is that if adults listened to kids views on sex rather then the other way around maybe we would stop walking backwards

As for smoking at 11 and ciggies being cheaper over here! They are almost $10 for a pack of 20

You think 11 is bad? Someone posted a link to info about a 5 year old having a baby in 1939. He died in 1979 but she is still alive. She was 5 years older than her son!
