Two peices of galvanised metal in a sealed beaker, with a tube going to a ballon.

Have the beaker half filled w/ salty warm water.

Place a decent current through the water.

You'll collect hydrogen in your balloon. I used to do this as a kid, every weekendit was like a mini hindenburg disaster, lol.
