While the nuclear situation does need to be addressed, the Iranian president brought up a lot of issues that no one of high political rank ever addressed in public. It's easier for Bush to just gloss over the statements made and basically stick his fingers in his ears and say "La la la la la la la la... I CAN'T HEAR YOU!" Like a little kid would during an argument.
