There have been people from various media outlets reading webmaster forums for quite some time. I seem to remember GFY posts being mentioned on Wired.com quite some time ago. That crescent scandle is going to generate interest and what better place to look for information about webmasters than at a webmaster forum? Jealous they didn't ask you for an interview or what?
