My husband says Domincans are better baseball players than Puerto Ricans, and I think it's the opossite... any baseball experts here to answer the question?

seldom post here, but being a baseball fan..
Dominican Republic
baseball is a religion there. there is so much money for equipment and stadiums and uniforms coming in from atheletes in the states, that kids start early, and learn the fundamentals early.
Venezuela would be a close second, because of the Winter leagues.
I am hard pressed to even come up with a Phillipino baseball player
