Are typos domains against ICANN rules?

Are typo domains against any ICANN rules or country laws?
It seems like quite a nefarious business practice even if it isnt.

its a complex situation but there arent really any ICANN laws regarding this

however, if you own typos of a trademark protected name, you may lose your name in WIPO
      I don't use ICQ anymore.

country laws may also apply in certain cases - so if you are from the same country, the company may simply take you to court to take the typo domain away from you
          I don't use ICQ anymore.

yes theres a specific US law which forbids using deceptive domain names to send children to porn

my old idol - Mr John Zuccarinni went to jail for 2 or 3 years for doing it
