I thought the only people who use Western Union were Mexicans fearful of banks, who insist on keeping cash under the mattress.

Yes, you are right. I used EP before but when they crashed down i needed another payment method. And WU is in my country not unusual.

I sent a Western Union to a model once who had a problem cashing my check at one of those seedy check-cashing places, and I just about wanted to shoot myself. It was a ridiculous process and so extremely expensive... the people at WU are a bunch of con-artists.

Going back to the early 90s when I was BackPacking around Aus I used to use them to get money from the UK when I ran out - It was a fucking nightmare every time.

It was pretty much the only option back then though.

funny? it's how WU works everywhere expect USA probably, where consumers are so demanding they prefer to grow fat ass for not going to the bank.

them and google for adsense payment to a lot of countries

If you make over 4500 EUR per month, they will actually split that into multiple wu payments of 4500 max

and they pay the fee
