yeah thats exactaly what i am thinking bigdog i have sent them an email and an icq to see if they can find out whats up..... And thought this may be a faster way to get their attention....

well as far as affilaite programs we scan each person wanting to promo us IE there links ect ect.... ( A BIG THANKS TO SELENA ) But as far as spoofing smeones account im sure they have something set up and someone found a way around it ? maybe? I dunno...

unbelievable - a company the size of TopBucks and any idiot can spoof their way into their leased plugins - i've seen the same thing with AEBN's leased feeds. i'd fire the programmer - that's his job.

um....... can anybody recommend a good scene - think i need to rub one out

spoofing referrers is easy as hell.
The PHP manual even speciufically warns against EVER trusting it.

There are much better ways w/ rotating md5 keys etc that theseguys should be using.

Fuck, if they get stuck, they can always comission me to do it.

people do it all the time, they just fake the refer, say if sitea.com has feeds from siteb.com, siteb.com trusts the host sitea.com so as long as it fakes the refer of a current pluginfeeds customer, that host will be trusted.

In this case, this has nothing to do with spoofing. This was client who attempted to abuse our 1 week free trial offer on pluginfeeds by putting our content in a non protected members area. They have now been shut down.

I appreciate you bringing this to our attention. If you or anyone else find any other issues like this, please notify support AT pluginfeeds.com

To address the other issue, PlugInFeeds Content is spoof proof. However, if they are placed in a members area of a client that is not spoof proof, people are able to access them. We do our best to test that our clients members areas are spoof proof to minimize this risk.
