The jump wasn't as bad as the little guy trying to beat us for not paying him to show us how to jump. That dude was nuts!
After I jumped I realized I had my contacts in and when I went under I didn't want to open my eyes and ruin them. I must have gone way under because it felt like I had been swimming up forever and was just about to open my eyes when I broke the surface.
Was a little scary for a few moments (like swimming into that damn cave!) but it was definately a blast!
I made it though the cliffdiving fine, but then ate some bad lobster the last night and caught food poisoning. During the flight home I though I was going to die. Went straight to the hospital when I got home and spent 2 weeks in bed or on the toilet. Had to go in several times for shots to help me recover. Was not a fun experience. I knew the second I took a bie of the lobster that it was bad. Should have made myself throw it up, would have been a joy compared to what I went through.Old SchoolComment
