    Making Chateau Briand for dinner tonight, need some help...

    good suggestions for stuff to go with it :-) I don't have time to make a demi glace sauce ... but what else could i pair it with other than the usual taters and asperagus (sp?)?

            yeah, just got a great suggestion from nickatilynx to sear up some foie gras and put it over a salad with a few thin apple slices

              Baked sweet potato, maybe, buried in rock salt and baked with butter and a touch of cinnamon on it (no sugar). Or a rice dish. Or roasted potatoes if you normally do baked.

              Veggies, hmmmm, there are so many good ones that is hard to choose. Broccoli, honey glazed carrots, roasted artichokes, sliced tomato, etc
