Have you ever... (love is tough)

... been in a relationship in which you were completely happy and then somebody crossed your path and you liked her/him more than you were supposed to be?

you try your best to ignore it and move on

or, you say, fuck it I'm gonna cheat

or, you say, yknow what, given that I now have feelings for this other person I'm gonna step out of my relationship and see if I want someone else or the person I'm with (but you can't guarantee the person you're with will be there if you decide that's who you really want after all)

or, you grapple with it in your mind over and over and get distracted and find your relationship that was happy is now not so happy - procrastination with such things is the worst thing to do imo

it's a tough one, good luck with it!

                Oh Yes!!!!

Love & Relationship : there's always a possibility that a person can get attracted to another...it's human nature...it's not wrong...but that's why your in ca commitment, you discipline yourself... one may get attracted to numerous prospects and it'as ok...as long as you dont nurse the feeling and won't do something about it...borderline between cheating and faithfulness.... Recognize that you already have the person that can give you more than wat you get for the cheap thrills of attraction.

just wana share coz' it really feels bad when that things happen.... it's like your confused and don't know what to do.

of course. You're likely to be attracted to more than one person in this world. You need to make the decision to stick with what you're happy with or pursue the unknown. Of course, running from one person to the next is going to get tiring after a while.

                  An analogy:
You're happy driving your car. You see a red car the next day, maybe it's sportier. You decide to sell yours and buy that one. You're happy again. Then you see a blue car that's more luxurious. You sell yours and buy that one. You're happy. Then you see the newest concept car. It's SO COOL. You sell yours and buy it. You're happy. But are you happier now than you were with your first car? Or are you just tired and out of money?

What if that new person is your true sole mate?

What if you pass it up because you want to be a good person and stay on path with you current love?

                        Great post.

People these days all seem to have the idiotic idea that when you really love someone, you can't get a crush on someone else. So, when they inevitably start having feelings for someone else, they move on, like alcoholics unable to resist the drink in front of them.

No matter what relationship you are in, you will almost certainly fall in love with someone else at one point or another. That doesn't mean your current relationship is a bad one, nor does it mean that you will find "real" happiness with the other person. It just means you're human, and will therefore be attracted to different people during your lifetime. However, being human also gives you the option to resist temporary temptations, and make rational decisions rather than following your animal instincts.
