    how would you invest 50000$ ?

    hey there everybody,

    I'm a total n00b to all this thats why I lurked around for a while. As you are all experts in moneymaking, I'd like to get some advice...

    I've got ~50000 dollars at stake. Would you recommend to start up in the adult-industry or just buy stocks n shit? And WHERE/HOW would you invest it?

      Put that money away until you have completed the following:

      Buy a domain.
      Secure hosting for that domain.
      Sign up to a sponsor that intrigues you as far as the content they push.
      Start building Galleries.
      Submit them every day.
      Obtain partner accounts.
      Once your getting 4 sales a day look into building avs sites.
      Once you get the hang of building AVS sites that sell then start a small site.
      If that becomes successful you'll still have your original 50k and another 50k and you would have invested nothing but time.

      ^ above consulting fee is 50k make check out to me ... thanks for your time.

                              Call me crazy, but I'd invest it in stable emerging economies that pay over 7% interest on local currency deposits. Either that or park it in Coca Cola and Microsoft stock

                                      It completely depends on your cash flow needs and risk tolerance.

                                      Is this $50,000 the only source for income you have? Or do you currently already have a job/revenue?

                                      How much of it can you afford to lose? And what type on return on your investment are you looking for short-term/long-term?

                                      The question you asked is sure to get a lot of different responses, because people will advise you to do what they know best. The expert real estate player will tell you to buy property. The paysite guru will recommend you start a paysite.

                                      None of these responses matter. All that matters is what do you want from the money - an ongoing business? a chance to speculate and hit it rich? or a nice long-term investment?

                                      Answer these questions first, and you'll have a better idea of what to do with the money.

                                                                      thanks for all replies. I'm planning to go to university in fall, I'm currently working on a 720$ job, still living with my parents... I'd like to start my own business parallel to studying... promoting porn might be a nice option...

(depends of the location size and quality..) videochat studios.... hire 6 to 8 girls for every studio, sit back and relax while any 1 of the girls would get me something from 200 up to 1000$ every month... let's say 30 girls... let's say the minimum 200$ / girl/ month (actually, at only 200$ / month profit... i would quickly replace her with a new one), that's 6k / month.. multiply that by 12...and think again if 7% interest / year is really an option...now go to the bright side and calculate 40 girls * 600$ * 12 months....that would be the medium income....but hey, i am just a rookie, who would invest based on my calculations...

                                                                                                                  1. the manager would be paid as a % of the income the studios generates...that's the way i would be somehow more confident he will take care of the business and not of the girl's asses...and of course, there's also the posibillity of a lady manager (a straight one of course, LOL)...
                                                                                                                  2. the advertising is FOR THE GIRLS and not for the customers...becouse...
                                                                                                                  3. the difference between a studios and a site is that the first one usually works through a website, i mean an established one... jasmin, ifriends, camz, you name it, there ale lots of them, so i don't need streaming software, and also i don't need to advertise the website....of course i will only get 35 to 50% of what the girls are making, and that i wiould split 50/50 with then... the numbers i put in my earlier messages were based on those VERIFIED

                                                                                                                                              If $50K is basically your nestegg, then split it out ... don't bet the ranch on any one thing unless you can afford to lose the $50K ...

                                                                                                                                              Consider something like this ...

                                                                                                                                              Bank $25K in a CD... boring, and yes the return leaves something to be desired, but they money will be there.

                                                                                                                                              Invest $10K to $15K in stocks / mutual fund, etc.

                                                                                                                                              * stocks, including mutual funds, are very manipulated far more than even I ever thought possible - I've played the markets - made some, lost some ... my *non*-stock investments on the other-hand consistantly gone up and earned good returns. In a nutshell, while it may be tempting to put all of it in stocks, don't *unless* you are *prepared* to lose a significant amount of your money.

                                                                                                                                              Take the remaining $10K to $15K and use it to start an on-line business, etc ... basically think of this remaining money as play money and try out some things; money you can afford to lose.

                                                                                                                                                                                      Dunno if that will work..

                                                                                                                                                                                      BUT: You better watch out where to spend your money and where to start.. You really have to know what you are doing because you could loose eveything and only making like 100$ :p
