I didn't say it was ok. I'm just arguing with the title of this thread and all the innuendos that he was driving drunk without proof or hard evidence. Everyone just automatically assumed it. There are a lot of prescription drugs out there that can make you appear drunk. I think they should have given him a breathalizer, but they didn't and therefore there's no proof. I'm upset at the media for jumping on everything political with little evidence and assuming something. Even non-political, there are a lot of people that are targeted by the media, smeared and they end up innocent. Just because someone "appears" drunk doesn't mean they are drunk.

Don't be naive. Based on his special treatment, if he was capable of passing a breath test cops at the scene would have been instructed to have him take one.
There's even a band named after drunk Kennedys !!!
