its one of those movies you either love or hate. i liked it alot. had to watch it twice.

its dry humour at its best.

a cult following for sure.

For most of us, we know someone similar to the characters in the movie.

I waited the entire movie for something to happen, the comedy to start, something. I was hoping for a zoolander, kingpin, liar liar, freddy got fgd, or something....just couldn't believe it based on how many people recommended it.

Indeed it sucked. It seems that there's a lot of people that's saying it's funny because everyone is saying it's funny. A few funny moments does not make a movie funny. It was just plain awful.

That movie takes a certain mood to be funny..I think its funn as hell!

You have to watch it a few times, to sometimes get the humor in it...

I have a friend who is an upcomming producer, so I look at movies like that a little differently now... We think of what it would be like to make that movie and how much fun they had doing it...

The main character only made 1000$ to make that movie, cuz his friend had a very low budget, and he did it as a favour... I'd like to know if he shared some of the success with him though, as he made millions... or maybe even got ripped off by selling it to a company for like 50k then to have them make the millions off it...

My friend just finished filming his 4th movie and has one more short film to make this summer, after that he will take his 5 Short films to a bigger company and propose that he make a feature. I've acted in some, and I've even auditioned for some indy films and got the roles... So I told him I want to audition for his feature for sure

* When he draws the picture of the girl and gives it to her, and her mother makes her take him to the dance, that was mildly entertaining.

* The time machine part, when the uncle comes out & you can tell he's already tried it.

* The brother when he meets his ebony queen & she turns him ghetto. The end is funny as fuck! lmao Thats about the only part I really thought was funny!

depends on what kind of person you are, but personally i think acting stupid/funny to make people laugh is alot of fun... I like playing out characters...

I find the entire movie funny... one of my favorites of all time. It's not a movie that has certain parts that will make you bust out laughing... but for people that get it and like it the whole movie will make them laugh.

I could only see that movie as mildly enjoyable if you are very very stoned. My wifes sister said we have to watch this movie and I didnt crack a smile once. I told my wife to call her sister and get my $3.99 back lol

It's an exaggeration of 70's-80's the US Midwest, stretched to the modern extreme. The midwest cracks me up on a regular day.
