From bad to good.

Just before putting my kids to sleep at 7pm, my wife asked me to pick up some address labels for a project she's working on that needed to be completed tonight.

I said SURE BABY! NO PROBLEM ... She said that Staples closed at 8pm so I had about an hour. So, I walked into my office and PROMPTLY SPACED THA OUT ON WORK AND EMAILS!

At 8pm she came down and asked me if I'd picked them up ... and I was like FUCK! SO SORRY, BABY! ... started calling around to Kinkos, Office Depot, etc ... NO LUCK!

At 8:20 I found a Staples that was open until 9pm about 20 miles away from me that had the exact labels she needed. I jumped into my car got there at 8:50pm.

SLAP SHOT! SCORE!!!

WHEW!!!

While in line getting ready to pay, I hear "Jonathan? Jonathan Silverstein?" Turns out that I ran into someone that used to work for me in the EARLY DAYS. I haven't seen him in 9 years. He works for Yahoo now! Can't say which department BUT it's a GREAT one!!!

woke up at 2:00PM, took a long ass shower, went to my offline place of business, was handed an envelope full of cash from my boss for smashing quotas, worked out for two hours - havnt skipped a beat at the gym this week... came home to a mailbox full of checks, chick from offline place of business added me to her yahoo list (not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing yet, time will tell)... about to take another shower and work on my site for another 5-6 hours before i hit the sack. not a bad day.
