We have multiple macs in here (mini, few ibooks and a powerbook g4), and when they work, they work great. However I had an issue with the powerbook the other day when the airport card had an issue, causing kernel panics whenever you tried to boot. After several hours of trying to diagnose the issue, I found a way to disable the drivers for the airport, which made the Mac boot fine, but no wireless

Getting the wireless card out is a big issue, and probably will require taking it to a mac store. Their prices are quite steep for simple maintenence so if something happens to your Mac, be prepared to spend some $ getting it fixed.

With a PC, there's usually at least one nerd in the office who can fix it.
