I was once driven from my home town to austin texas by a police detective, for the sole purpose of being given a lie detector test by the "top guy in texas".
I lied my ass off (was looking at 5 years min). I passed. The whole 3 hour trip I did nothing but go over the lies in my head, trying my damndest to convience myself they were true. It must have worked.
So after, I was cleared of all charges. And I went squeaky clean. I never want to be in that position again.
