Nancy Grace ugh, to testify before congress on "Internet Predators" live in an hour

It'll be on CNN. Thankfully my TV's in the other room, because I can't stand looking at her...

While I agree with her on THIS particular issue, they just interviewed her on CNN and naturally it isn't just CHILD pornography she blamed, but internet pornography.

Anyone that knows anything about this lady knows what she'll be like before congress. Irrational and infuriating. Yet SHE gets another public forum to spew her OPINIONS.

It's reason like this woman testifying and making public statements that our industry needs a greater voice to counter what will surely be her incredulous accusations.

For those that aren't aware of who this woman is...

an excerpt on her rational views...

Grace has received strong criticism for her public comments about trials involving the Michael Jackson trial and the Elizabeth Smart kidnapping. Some claim that Grace's strong pro-prosecution stance and her tendency to declare the guilt of an accused individual before trial subverts one of the fundamental principles of the criminal justice system, the presumption of innocence.

One of the best examples of Grace commenting on matters sub judice occurred in the Smart case, when suspect Richard Ricci was arrested by police on the basis that he had a criminal record and had worked on the Smarts' home. Grace immediately and repeatedly proclaimed on CourtTV and CNN's Larry King that Ricci "was guilty", although there was little evidence to support this claim. She also suggested publicly that Ricci's girlfriend was involved in the coverup of his alleged crime. Grace continued to malign Ricci, though he has since died.

It was later revealed that Smart was kidnapped by Brian David Mitchell and Wanda Barzee, two individuals with whom Richard Ricci had no connection. Grace has never publicly apologized to Ricci's family, and continued to defend her assumption that he was involved in the kidnapping of Elizabeth Smart.
