                thats actually a good thing.
                I'll explain. The reason hiv/aids is so deadly is the latency period. It can go 10 years before you show symptoms, thus containing it is near impossible. With this strain, it will be contained much eaiser. If all hiv strands were like this aids would not exist. Look at sars for example. If it took sars 15 years to develop we'd all be fucked.

It means that those with full-blown AIDS will have less opportunity to spread the disease, and unfortunately, will likely pass on quicker (again, with less opportunities to spread the disease). Especially if it as resistant to medication as they claim. An unfortunate, yet at the same time, fortuitous mutation of the virus.
