I understand the hypocrisy and it does boggle my mind as to why Mexicans allow it to persist and why Mexican-Americans don't condemn the Mexican government for its treatment of its own people and migrant workers. When people make this into an issue of race, they need to acknowledge that the Mexican government and many of its citizens are just as racist as everybody else.
