    How do you get those 5 digit text numbers

    You know the kind you see on tv all day telling you to text some message to 55233. How does a business get a number like that? Does anyone know?

      You have to stack a lot of chips to get a number like that.

              These are short codes and can be shared or dedicated. They allow you to accept inbound SMS messages and send messages to mobile handsets acrossa variety of carriers but they are country specific...most importantly they can be premium rated which means that you can charge consumers for content. This is what we do with BabeCell for adult content...we help webmasters use shortcodes to bill for their adult content direct from their websites.
