    Why is it always in films, that...

    when the main character has long hair (Male or female) and decides to cut it short themselves, (Be it in a fit of angst, or to facilitate a disguise or make an escape) that they go into a bathroom alone, with just a pair of scissors...

    And walk out with an immaculately professional haircut, including the back?

    I cant think of a movie off hand where someone cuts their own hair, and it looks awful... Can you?
