    My father would have been 85 today - RIP

    Today would have been my father's Birthday and we would be celebrating together, but he passed away and I wont have that luxury any longer. I miss the talks we used to have.


    Wish I would've listened
    More when you were alive
    But with all you've left me
    I have learned to survive

    I'm thanking you now
    Even though its too late
    And hopefully I'll see
    You at Heaven's great gate


    I hope you are out there somewhere celebrating. Happy Birthday to my Dad.

      I feel for you. My mom passed away June this year. This Christmas just doesn't feel right without her.

                                                  One of my best friends died the Friday before Christmas in 2007 leaving behind a five year old and wife, and it's impossible not to feel that loss and some deep thoughts about my own mortality at Xmas time.

                                                  It can be a real struggle to put on a happy face at times, even though this has been a pretty good year for our family.

                                                      My Dad passed away this year - he would have been 84 in two days.

                                                      I miss his absence, but I am enjoying the many holiday memories of the times we had together.

                                                          my mom passed away in February - Christmas Eve was my parents wedding anniversary. they eloped. now they're both gone. 50 years ago they were young and just starting their lives together, and in the blink of an eye it's all over.
                                                          I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!
