dreamhost is good for hosting galleries and other static contents since they offer 1TB of bandwidth.A terabyte.I haven`t noticed any stability issues.
I have some blogs there but I`m going to be moving those soon to a dedicated server.

I signed up with Dreamhost 2 days ago. Virtual account. 10 minutes later (SERIOUSLY) my site was down. It took about an hour for them to get it back up. I didn't even bother attempting to contact anyone as the only thing I had a chance to get up was a "Coming Soon" page.
Virtual is slow. But for $22 who am I to complain?★★★
