If the situation were reversed and it was a 27 year old dude fucking a 13 year old girl, you would all be screaming "PEDO" over and over and be asking for the guys balls in a vice.

Things like this are NOT ok people. If the CHILD was 13 years old, he may have not even hit puberty yet. Who knows what kind of damage he could have received from this situation. Imagine what kind of expectations he is now going to have for any and probably all future relationships. She took his chance to be a KID.

It's just what we need too...a bunch of 13 year old kids running around fucking and getting people pregnant with no means to support anything.

The double standards here amaze me. This is some big laughing joke to everyone when to me personally, it's fucked up. I feel bad for the kid. Who knows how many years this is going to fuck with his head.

Maybe when some of you have finished your OWN puberty you will see things a little differently. Maybe when you have children of your own, things like this will not seem so lighthearted. How they can seem that way to anyone is beyond me but then I have to remember that not everyone here is raised with the same standards and I guess in some countries, this is ok.

What bothers me the most is I know for a fact that some of the same people yelling "Oh man where was she when I was..." are the same ones yelling "pedo pedo pedo" when the situation is reversed.

Oh yeah I know. The hypocrisy in really bad in the judicial sytem. The Mary Kay Letourneau chick only got 7 years AFTER she was caught with the boy after she was put on probation. No offense, but where is it "common knowledge" that he would not be adversly affected by this? Everyone reacts to every situation differently. You are right, I should have use the term "common opinion" instead. We can't know with a 100% certainty what effects this will have on a 13 year old in the long run, because of the many factors, some of which you mentioned.

In any case, while I don't personally think the 13 year old boy will be harmed by this, I agree with the way the situation is being dealt with. If we don't adquately punish these situations when the victims are boys and the perpetrators are women, the kind of pedos that we all despise may get the idea that what they are doing is not wrong, or accepted, or think that they have a good argument to defend themselves with if they are caught.

She was in the process of getting a divorce before she started fucking the kid. The parents of the 13 year old boy let her stay at their house while she was looking for another place to live. That is when she started fucking the 13 year old boy!!!

She is sick and wrong and she will be punished like she should be. But the fact remains and will always remain that men and women are different. They look at sex different, they feel different about sex and they have sex different. There is where the double standard is formed. Doesn't mean there are not exceptions to the rule but in general they are different. What she did is wrong and is just as wrong by law as if it was a man who did it. But some people are going to feel different about it because of how different the sexes are!!!
