Ratings doesn't prevent a kid from renting or buying a game. As a parent I am responsible for my kid, BUT if my kid can going into store and buy the game without my permission that not my fault. I remember back in the 70's and being 10 and 11 can buying Cheech and Chong, Richard Pryor and George Carlin albums. I remember when the original MK came out and they tried to ban it. SNES took the blood and gore out and Sega kept everything but you just had to enter the code.

MK5 for xbox is far worst than what I played when I was a kid so I can see why their trying to do this but it won't work. My mom took me to KBToys and took my money and paid for the game, then handed it to me in front of the clerk.

2) NC-17 Movies
3) UnderAge Sex
4) Kids Trying Cigarettes

7) Mass Hysteria, all of our kids are watching R + NC-17 movies fucking and smoking while slamming a 1/5th of jack back, hitting the crack pipe, taking a puff off their smoke than shooting up some smack.
