heres what you do....

run a small wire from the high-powered bulb to your tactical grip...have a small switch on your grip...so when put your hand on the grip, you can click it on & off....trust me, you only want the light on when you're about to engage....otherwise you're just giving away your position
I have the switch coming that replaces the cap on the back of the Maglite and has a pressure switch to the front grip ... so it's only on when i squeeze .. but I think your right about getting a high power light ..

I went cheap ...but I think I'll step it up if I'm going to keep a light on ..
