I saw the e-mail. The keyword is anonymous proxies. Anonymous proxies filter out everything, including the Referer header. ;)Comment

I just tested 6 proxies and 5 out of 6 DO pass the referrer... Now I will run the same test with your software and see if I am just high on crack cocain.Comment

They are not typical anonymous proxies then, as far as I know.Originally posted by V_RocKs80.58.3.235 - - [08/Feb/2005:22:56:16 -0800] "GET /license.php HTTP/1.0" 200 482 "http://www.me.com" "Mozilla compatible"

With a packet sniffer I discovered that the headers are not right when using proxies though. So you were right to begin with. I will have it straightened out and resent to all customers as soon as my C++ guy comes online.Comment

Settings - 40 clicks - use proxies (have 6 with 1 that I know will not pass referrer) and Simulate real clicks ON

Out of the 40 clicks only 4 made it. Only 2 of the known to be good proxies were used and this would mean that I got counted only 2 times. I wanted to get counted at least 5 (the number of good proxies).Comment

The proxy bug has been fixed and the new version has been sent out. In addition, I compiled a new default URL list to go with it. So Reffy now comes with an URL list of 11,909 active blog websites.Comment
