People dont want to give their credit card info for $0 charge cuz it looks fishy...

that is true. they seem to be converting pretty much the same.
btw they are $1 LIFETIME Memberships.
I'd say try out both and see which does best for you.

My Epic Dvd Rentals link code already has the SID field filled out.. Does that mean I can't use SID's or can I just change it?

SID = Site ID (not subid heh)
Do Not change that.
We offer subid tracking on paysite links, for that use the following: add &subid= to the end of your linkcode followed by a subid name of your choice

I just emailed our programmer asking if possible to add subid tracking for dvds. I'll let you know when I hear from him.
