Cruises...

I've never been on one before, but I just booked one that is sailing during halloween for my girlfriend and I.

The boat is Rhapsody of the Seas from Royal Carribean.

Anyone ever been on this boat or have any tips about cruises in general?

Sorry no idea either. I just paid up for a nice suite for a 1 week mediterranean cruise as my honeymoon in july. Can't wait.

..I've been on plenty of 'cruises' between Helsinki and Tallinn, and between Helsinki and Stockholm..but thoese aren't really 'cruises' as you know them.. they're more like a drinking-fucking-fighting-puking-endingupinlockup kinda things.

..and I'm off.

I just got back from a 7 day western carribean on carnival. I had a awsome time, I talked to a few people from Royal carribean they said that"royal is a classier ship, but a much older crowd". It depends on what type of crowd you like, but carnival was fun as hell!!!!!!

we were thinking about carnival, but since i live so close to the embarkation (galveston) we decided on Rhapsody of the Seas since the only carnival boat here was used for the New Orleans evacuees... no thanks. And I don't feel like paying for a plane trip to south florida really.

But I thought it was pretty reasonable... got a Junior Suite for 1050 each...

Where are you going? I've been to the Bahamas on a cruise, but really want to do an Alaskan one. My brother and SIL just got back from doing some small island trip - St. Johns, Aruba and some others I think.

It was cheap because they nail you with everything else ;)

Oh yea I can't wait to spend a ton of money on pictures and stupid shit.

Forget about the alcohol and the gambling... I don't even wanna think about that stuff.

But we are going to Ocho Rios, Jamaica ... Georgetown, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, and Cozumel.

I've heard that Alaskan cruises are REALLY nice... might be next on my list if I enjoy this cruise.
