1. You're just as responsible now for everything as if you had your own merchant account even if you don't have one and are using 3rd party.
2. If your cb ratio hits the magic number, you're done. Not that site.... ALL your sites.
3. Visa will be deciding what types of sites you can and cannot have on a per url basis. You get one site nuked, you get them all nuked, and you're done.
4. If you happen to be lucky enough to be using Epoch, you will NOT EVER use another processor like Globill or they will terminate you for life.
5. Mastercard is rumored to have taken on the same policies.
6. If you stay with 3rd party processing, and are terminated, you cannot get your own merchant account.
7. If you go with getting your own merchant account and are terminated by Visa, you cannot go get 3rd party processing.
8. If you do decide to stay with 3rd party processing, you take on full responsibility as though you had a merchant account, and get the privelege of continuing to pay the 15% transaction fees to the processor.
9. You will bend over and accept the full girth in a painful and dry fashion without complaint or be banished to Antartica.
