During one reinstall it had a nag that I would need to call a toll-free number within a certain number of days to continue using Windows. When I did it was simply a voice recognition system that asked me to read a number to them, then it gave a number back to enter on the PC to continue. It was smooth and took only a few minutes.

yeah...i had to install it twice because it crashed and their help desk in the UK really didn't want to help at all. We ended up calling the US help desk that were a lot better.
