I grew up in NY ..so skating was great .. lots of places to street skate ..I skated every day in the summer and as much as possible in the winter. the surfing was hard at first but being that i could skate and water ski I picked it up pretty fast. the surfing in NY is not that great .. there are only a few good places on the south shore that have good breaks. I was at the beach everyday in the summer and fall ... I loved it ..even if the waves were shit I'd sit out in the water and just think .. I miss that a lot ...it really gets in your blood.
