    Google BetaGroups question

    I am playing around with the beta groups on google and when I check my groups I see a numer behind the group names between "(number)" what does that mean?

    And is there a way to see the ammount of traffic/searches it gets?

    Sorry for the n00b question ;)))

      i've wondered that also i've got a bunch and a few have the ( # ) next to the title, maybe # of new posts or # of new or active members

          I doubt the "new posts" theorie as my groups aren't that active. I get new members on a daily base but nowhere close to the number shown.

                      not sure what number do you see, but my guess is it's the number of the group's members

                                  Yes those are the numbers, but they don't match the ammount of messages I have in my group. You mean the ammount of posts right?

                                      They should match the amount of the posts + replies, you might have 2 posts but the second post has one reply, so the number you see should be three (3)

                                      in case I'm wrong I give up, it's not easy for a man to do more than one thing at a time ;)

                                          Well I am pretty sure it aint the ammount of posts or replies.

                                          Strange thing is I see about the same numbers behind the group names every day !?!?!
