Actually in some places, it's becoming quite the buyer's market now. Too many people trying to sell. We're looking at buying a new house and there are plenty to choose from. New builders are giving crazy incentives and old home owners are willing to go way below asking price.
And the interest rate still isn't bad ... not too bad a time to pick up a house. But then is there ever a good time to purchase a home in CA? Oh yeah, right after an earthquake. : )
