Assuming you get 12.5% fee's we would have the following:
85% affiliate 2.5% program owner. (program eating all fees)
72.5% affiliate 17.5% program owner (affiliate eating fees)
78.75% affiliate 11.25% program owner (split fees)
Now would you also want the program owner to provide hosted ad material as well? Maybe toss in Epassporte payment options?Comment

Then with his $10 (40%) $3.50 goes to credit card processing fees. (@14%)
So that leaves 6.50 to pay for content to keep customers recurring plus hosting are the next 2 big expenses. DO the math. Not much left for profit.
So if a revshare program claims 85% read the fine print and or make sure who's paying the processing fees. Also be sure to join the site and check it out on the inside because you do not want to push a shitty site that hardly updates that's full of upsells on a revshare biz model!Comment
