Do me a favor, pull up one of your favorite porn clips on IE and open up the same clip on FF. Now take your cock in your hand and do an "A/B". Which of the two browsers did Mr. Winky like better?
This whole Firefox vs. IE crap reminds me of the PC vs. Mac shit. It's funny how everyone that used Macs praised them like they were the second coming of Christ and all of the newer operating systems for the Mac are pretty much the same as Windows with their little fucked up twist on things.

Small difference: If you were a Mac person back in the day, you were like a designer or some other quirky creative type and you suffered the high-priced software monopolies happily over Starbucks with your other Mac buddies. Collectively, you helped Apple hold on to a smidgen of the PC market.
If you are a Mozilla geek, you spend an hour writing some bullshit little whistle or bell for FF and Google will send you a million hits a day --

I had a similar problem back in the day when I thought Netscape was the shit! Netscape and their little boat sailing steering logo was something that I sang massive praises about....
Hasn't Netscape sunk into offering cheap dial-up internet service now? When I check my traffic reports it's still 89% IE, 7% Firefox, 1% Opera, and 3% Other.
It's all about status quo and as long as 89% of my site's visitors are using IE then I will accomodate 89% of my potential customers. If it doesn't make dollars then it doesn't make sense.

Yea, its kinda like windows, only without the rediculous security problems
C'mon...that can't be real. I could understand that image as a reference from a financial or ecomomic viewpoint but not in a traffic-based common sense discussion. You're talking about tipping the scales on something that is so "standard" that it's like most people breathing. In 90% of the computers sold in America IE is pre-installed and most people accept that. Also, most people are not too computer saavy and will just keep what is installed. Firefox, Opera, etc is cool and all if you know what you're doing but you have to realize that 90% of computer users don't know what the fuck they're doing. It's all about force-feeding society and by offering something different it won't quite work.
But, the present browser market share numbers only show so much of the picture. There are forces and influences here that may not be obvious to all of you. No, it's not a conspiracy. It's kinda right out in the open, which is why it's so cool and has me hopelessly hooked --

I use IE only maybe once a week now, and that's only to check if the design/page looks fine in it.... firefox is my regular browser...
Me too. Funny shit: Of course sometimes I forget to do the IE check on a page, and one of my peeps will ICQ me with http://mygooglekillerdomain.com/baddIE.html, so I just started calling them baddIEs -- lol.

Huh? Apple was before Microsoft. So windows would be pretty much the same as mac but with their own little fucked up twist on things. Oh, and the mac is a nix based operating system, which is quite different than m$.
IE7 suck badly, copy all the stuff from others browser...
firefox has plenty of useful extensions, Links checker, View source in layered color, MeasureIt ruler, download all links, Live Header Modifier, Real Ftp client, View As IE, Outline table cells, Find broken Images, Outline all deprecated element in the webpage,
