WTF - changing email disactivated my a/c???

    WTF - changing email disactivated my a/c???

    All I did was change my email in the user profil. Now I can't reply or post a new topic... instead I get:

    borked, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

   1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
   2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
    I had to reregister just to post this. Surely I didn't piss anyone off to havemy a/c disactivated?

      They might, like some Vbulletin boards, send a confirmation email to your new address. Which may have been spam filtered or not recieved.

              thanks guys - yes the email had been sent but it was filtered to junk grrrrr
              Had not seen anything when I changed the email that it now req'd activation.
