It seems to me, that if you really like your life, you'd want to extend it as much as possible. There's a host of problems associated with being over weight, and let me tell you some of them would be no fun at all to live with.
I can understand how people get to thinking it's okay, and that it's a "struggle" to lose weight, and it can't be done, and it's just in their genes and blah blah blah. It's all a cop out in the end.
Now, granted, not everybody can be an athlete. Many people are very busy with work, families, or what have you. Fear not though, there's little things you can do that will still help. Try to improve your diet, add a little more exercise, don't eat late at night, very basic common sense things.
Remember, you don't need to be Brat Pitt skinny to enjoy the benefits of living a healthier lifestyle. Just do what you can, you'll feel much better for it and you'll probably live a longer, healthier life too.
