    What's a good webhost if you are planning to run a forum

    I know running forums use a lot of server resources and some host don't like people putting forums on their virtual host. Especially when you start getting hundreds of members posting. Anyone know of a reliable web host that lets you do this?

      I've never had any issues running them one virtual hosting.

      If you're looking for a cheap dedicated solution, there's plenty of places that can hook you up.

          Candyflip can you tell me a webhost you've used for virtual hosting with forums? Don't think I'm going to need dedicated solution until the site gets bigger.

                          I pay less now for dedicated boxes than I did the last time I had virtual. That was a number of years ago now.

                          Do a search for Phatservers and see what you get. Give them a shout and I'm sure they can set you up with a good plan.
