The Evil Dead trilogy is classic. I love all 3 films (the ending of Army of Darkness is a bit slow though)
I loved watching the first Spider-man movie because Sam Raimi reused so many Evil Dead-esque moments. The one that jumps to mind first is when Green Goblin was smashing Spidey's head into all the glass windows in a line.

evil dead: a fistful of boomstick, the game on ps2 is really dope! Like GTA (it uses the same engine as GTA) only without cars, but with chainsaws, zombies and boomsticks, its bloody and funny + the original bruce campbell as the voice of his own character.Comment

evil dead is definitely the good stuff, although - as others said - army of darkness isn't quite as good.
imo, without bruce, there is NO evil dead. and according to aicn, bruce and his associates own the character of ash.
