I?d agree with this statement. $10 and you have your own digital homestead. But how much do you pay for the perfect domain? It has to be worth more than $10, right??

Lets take the example of Cams.com. It is the perfect domain for the right company backed by the perfect marketing strategy. Enter Legendary Lars. He recently purchased the big-ticket domain in a heated auction where he was forced to big against his peers. He had to determine its value before shelling out the crazy bucks, but how did he do it? If you?re interested in hearing what went on behind the scenes with Lars and the recent Cams.com acquisition and his advice for those looking to make a big name purchase, you can check it:

to vague a question, california is a big state,
I saw a sign the other day on my way to LA, near palm springs that advertised land at 4000$ an acre, thats pretty cheap.
Dont get excited about an answer thats as big as an entire state, that kind of answer is only as good as a 10$ domain, if he had said LA county or orange county you would have something to work with, but as it stands your getting excited over nothing except over zelious imaginations

?I figure in about one to two years I?ll have made my money back and it?s all gravy after that.?

?(Making the money back) in one to two years is just off the current customer base. Anything we are able to build off the brand or any type in (traffic) is all gravy.?

Seems like a good buy for someone in the biz.

Yes, a good size house here is around 400k to 500k!!! That is a good size, not a big/huge house!!! Just a basic house!!! That is also excluding places like Malibu and Brentwood etc...

I have no idea what the domain went for and if I did I wouldn't tell you!!!
