    Fucking yourself over...

    Do you find yourself trying to help your less fortunate or struggling friends out, and always fucking yourself over in the process? I do. Too much.

    Whether it be money or time or a combination of the two, I always end up shorting myself to help out those close to me. It seems there is always someone who is chipping away at my valuable time, and in the end I am behind because I tried to help this person. 9 out of 10 times, these people are beyond help anyways and never get a head in life no matter what. Take, take, take... I'm sure you know the kind.

    Today I had an epiphany. No more.

      Yea thats good of you to help a friend, but sometimes people really need to help themselves. You can only help so much, a person has to want help for it to work

                  Dude you help those around you because you derive a certain pleasure from it.

                  Treat it as a hobby instead of a curse. If your "Hobby" gets to expensive or time consuming adjust it as you would any passtime endeavor. If its pleasing and enjoyable then spend as much time or money as you are comfortable with and don't worry about it.

                  Otherwise take up building model planes or spend your money on something you enjoy more.
