I lucked out all the way down the line. My last day when I was supposed to go to court to get released from probation the judge that had sentenced me was on vacation, and the presiding judge wanted to continue it until he got back.
I needed to get off then, I didn't want to wait because I was getting married and it was going to screw with my honeymoon plans.
The judge changed his mind and released me.
