I'm a parent and i wouldnt like the government checking on me and my children all the time , but there has to be some way to make sure this stuff doesn't happen , and if it does , that its stopped right away.

I agree is some ways , but i was partially home schooled , and i wasnt traumatized

Kids need interaction though , and i cant see any real reason for home schooling , unless you moved all the time.

Makes you wonder how many things like this are going on RIGHT NOW but nobody knows about it to be able to stop it.

I remember just a few months back hearing of a similar case. Except in this one, two kids were given to a relative of their deceased parents and a stepfather. They were kept in cages and made to eat their own defecate and puke.

When all was said and done, I think the parents only got like a 3 year sentence.

They need to come out with a "Child Alert System". Something where the foster children must check-in once a week for a certain period of time (Maybe a year). If the child doesn't check-in, an alert comes up, that an investigator needs to visit the home. As well, give them something like a "Medic Alert" necklace or something, in case of emergency
