    Does Smoking Weed Make You Stupid?

    Hello everyone,

    Okay, 420 day, time to go get faded, toke, blaze, roll a joint, load the bong, make a pipe using a pepsi can, or using an apple..

    How many of you really think smoking week makes you stupid?

    I don't smoke myself, not saying that I haven't but just choose to not smoke, I don't like the feeling I get when I smoke, but I have friends that smoke on a daily basis.. So let's get your opinions on that.. Why is smoking weed every day such a good thing?

                                          lol im the same way i don't enjoy smoking most of the time. which is why i only smoke on occasion. about smoking making you stupid.. my guess is that smoking regularly has a different effect on everyone. i have some friends who smoke everyday, can hold a decent conversation, good memory, and just all around normal. then i have the bubblegummer friends who get absolutely retarded and just flat out annoying because of the dumbness level.

                                          to be honest i think it magnifies what type of person you are. if your dumb it makes you retarded, if your smart it makes you think 5x more, if your outgoing and talkative its going to make you annoying, etc..

Now I haven't smoked for like almost 2 years already. Memory is getting better but I still tend to forget things every now and then.

It also stopped me from taking anything serious. It helped me make some dumb decisions in my life. It pretty much made me not give a fuck about anything but smokin'. Plus i didn't want to chill with anybody that didn't smoke, so i lost alot of good friends. I smoked every single day ( except for my 3 months in juvie ) from when i was 9 years old till i was 20... the shit didn't even get me high anymore unless I had super potent shit. I think it also stunted my growth, im 22 and i look 15 (view profile). But i know people who smoked alot more than me and are fine. My neighbor (a lawyer) won't do a case unless she's stoned.. and she's GOOD! Everybody gets different reactions. My dad gets panick attacks when he smokes weed but he still does it every damn day. I still smoke every now and then ( right after the army piss tests me )

                                                                                                                                              A buddy I've known for 22 years smokes weed 'n hash like most people smoke cigs. His entire day revolves around getting it, smokin' it...gettin' more. Its been his way of life for decades.

                                                                                                                                              He used to be an intelligent and charismatic individual, spiffy dresser and all-round good guy to hang with.

                                                                                                                                              These days he can't put a single train of thought together to save his life. Having a conversation with him is a frustrating exercise in futility. When he talks, he rambles from one notion to the next in each sentence without the slightest segue or connecting thought.

                                                                                                                                              And despite being a trucker all his life and earning an above-average wage much of the time - he doesn't own a house, or his vehicles...and drifts from town to town leaving behind a string of personal debts with dozens of people.

                                                                                                                                              If that's not stupid...then we need a new definition.

They simply don't want to improve their lot at all. You don't eat good you sleep liek shit and are wasted when you are awake....

                                                                                                                                                                                                      That makes it a hell of a lot more difficult for the brain to perform top notch.

                                                                                                                                                                                                      Anyway stidies have shown that if you only smoked like half a year or so and stop again, your brain will function normally after a month or so.
